Golf

For Golf enthusiast, Pranburi and a neighboring town Hua Hin have seven great golf courses surrounded by mountains and lakes. Here you will be able to find the oldest golf course of Thailand (since 1920). For the beginner, there are lessons provided. Prices range from Baht 900 to 3,500.


Pala U Waterfalls and Elephant Riding

Pala U Waterfalls and Elephant Riding, The Pala-u Waterfall is part of the Kaeng Krachan National Park. The PaLa U Waterfall with its 16 steps is one of the biggest waterfalls in Thailand, and the surrounding forest is over a thousand years old and is filled with rare wild animals First stop at the elephant camp, where you will experience an exciting elephant ride through the deep jungle, you will find yourself overwhelmed by the nature surrounding you, and you will most probably feel the legendary wisdom of the elephant taking you carefully through the jungle. An experience that you will always remember!


On the way to Palau Waterfalls driving west you will see pineapple Plantations towards the mountains near the Burmese border.


River cruise

Mountain trekking

Trek through an unspoiled rainforest at Pa-la-u Waterfall where you can trek up to the 3rd level, there is a pool of wild carp fish in which you can swim together. Experience the beautiful waterfall and jungle surroundings where wild monkeys and birds can be heard and seen.


Nature reserve trails

Back to nature, and the delicate aroma of the great flower variety in Thailand’s largest National park (2,915 sq km) Sam Roi Yod. Here you can explore a dense rainforest covers rugged mountains along the Burmese border. See Kaeng Krachan reservoir, it covers an area of 46.5 sq km and has a capacity of 710 million cubic meters. It was built using soil, which stopped the flow of the Petchburi River. The lake has many islands and the largest island is approximately 75 sq km.


Birds watching

Birds watching, besides the wide variety of flora and fauna Kaeng Krachan is a heaven for any birdwatchers with over 400 species identified.


Kayaking at Khao Daeng

Travel down south to Sam Roi Yod National Park. First, stop off at a seaside village “Khung Tanod” where the scenery was made famous in the world known film “The Killing Fields”. From the village it takes about 25 minutes to reach “Sai” cave. These ancient caverns have petrified waterfall, and monstrous limestone domes with dangling stone tentacles. The climb to the cave is quite rigorous. A visit to national park Headquarter and continue to Horizon Adventure Kayak Camp. The Kayak route is on the Khao Daeng trail, while the mangrove nature trails are excellent opportunities to view a variety of habitats and wildlife to name a few mud skippers, Crabs, Monitor Lizard, Kingfishers, Herons, Egrets and varieties of birds can be seen.


Huay Yang Waterfall

Spend a day going to a beautiful and unspoiled village called Prachuab Khiri Khan. A scenic area nicknamed “Little Rio” because of its fantastic location with white sandy beaches and high mountains near the Burmese border. This trip is a wonderful memory to bring back home. A drive though a lush tropical landscape. By the beautiful waterfall, enjoy the scenery and the magnificent view, or you might prefer a refreshing swim or a walk along the waterfall peacefully for a while. Shopping at the local market and find lots of souvenirs. Drive through the open military base in Aow Manao along the stunning coastline and feed some wild leaf monkeys they might look as friendly and cuddly as toys, but they are wild animals and could be dangerous and unpredictable.


Snorkeling

Bangsaphan Noi is unspoiled area, about 1.5 hrs Northwest of Pranburi. Then it continues on the Western Gulf with a 15 – 20 minutes Boat trip to Talu Island. Talu Island is just 15 – 20 minutes off coast from Bangsaphan; the island is renowned for its sparkling clear waters and abundant coral reefs. A great place for diving, fishing and relaxing far from the crowds, snorkel and explore the lovely clear waters and corals around the island. You can also relax on the beach then the boat can continue to Singha Island, where we take in more of, the local under sea world, and tropical fish in this area.
